Our History
Bonnie Doone Cartway is a small private lane tucked along the shores of Cape Cod, where the salt air meets the scrub pine and families have gathered for as long as anyone can remember. The name - "cartway" - speaks to the lane's origins: a narrow path wide enough for a cart, connecting the cottages to the world beyond and to one another.
The families of the lane have shared summers here across multiple generations. The cottages have been passed down, repainted, repaired, and loved. Children who once chased fireflies along the lane now bring their own children back each season, continuing a tradition of simple living and genuine community that Cape Cod summers have always embodied.
This website is a small but earnest effort to bring that community closer - to make it easier to coordinate stays, share news, and stay connected even when winter keeps us away from the lane we love.

The lane administrator reviews your request and confirms your family's connection to the Bonnie Doone community.
